• Usage data: Pages visited, features used, and device information to improve our service.
• Trip data: Trip plans, saved locations, and preferences you create within the app.
• Location data: Only when you explicitly grant permission, to show your position on the map.

How we use your information

• To provide and improve the Tiki Tours service.
• To personalise your experience (filters, saved preferences).
• To send service-related communications (password resets, trip alerts).
• To process payments for Trekker subscriptions.

Data sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:

• Supabase: Our database and authentication provider (data hosted in Australia).
• Stripe: Payment processing for subscriptions.
• Vercel: Website hosting and analytics.

Your rights

Under the NZ Privacy Act 2020, you have the right to access, correct, and request deletion of your personal information. Contact us at privacy@tiki.tours to exercise these rights.

Data retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove your personal data within 30 days. Anonymised usage data may be retained for analytics purposes.
