Kea activity at Raspberry Creek car park

Increased kea activity has been reported at Raspberry Creek car park and Aspiring Hut. Be aware of your belongings – particularly of leaving bikes in the car park or at Aspiring Hut. Tents have been shredded by the kea, and there is no great way of protecting your tent from keas. Camping at Aspiring Hut is at your own risk. Do not feed the kea. First published on 30 March 2026.
