Unsafe boardwalk on Ahuriri Estuary Walking Track

Do not use the boardwalk that joins onto Meeanee Quay opposite Nott Street. Deterioration has made it unsafe. Danger signs are in place and the boardwalk will be removed shortly. Once it's removed, you will be to walk the track across the gravel. However, the track may become submerged at high tide, in which case alternative routes are available.
