Restricted access to Kidds Bush Campsite

It is currently difficult to access the Kidds Bush campsite due to the closure of State Highway 6 between Makarora and Lake Hawea for road works. The road will reopen daily for three convoys, dependant on weather, at these times: southbound convoys leave from Makarora Village at 7:15 am, 12:45 pm, 6:15 pm northbound convoys leave from Isthmus Peak car park at 8 am, 12 pm, 5:30 pm.
