Wallaby control operation for Kirkliston Range 24-28 August
A wallaby control operation is planned for the eastern side of the Kirkliston Range Conservation Area. This will take place on Friday 28 August 2026 or in the next suitable weather window. The operation will include aerial shooting. See operation area map (PDF, 6,396K) Visitors are advised to avoid these areas or keep on formed tracks. Warning signage will be installed at all normal points of entry. This operation is part of the Tipu Mātoro National Wallaby Eradication Programme.
